DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING

Development and Marketing department is the executive body of the visionary future. Today, making films has in some respects become a lot simpler, as access to the technology is not as limited anymore, but in other respects it has become considerably harder: the overall amount of European film production has increased tenfold lately and everyone is trying to get their projects financed by the same limited number of sources.

That is the task of the development department – to find ways how to make films simpler, cheaper, better. It helps develop Marketing deals for the finished product and makes sure they find their audience on foreign film markets, festivals and other important hubs of film executives and institutions.

The imaginary “train of film” has many wagons, that are connected by the Development and Marketing department. In this they are supported by Enterprise Estonia, regional funds, embassies, private investors, educational organizations, etc

Hopefully many initiatives come to life here, that help the small Estonian film universe to expand, and unite all different areas of film into one unit that could compete with the best in the world.
